Timing

Most custom engagement rings require approximately 4–6 weeks from design approval, depending on the complexity of the ring, stone sourcing and any special fabrication requirements.

Every custom engagement ring is individually quoted based on the center stone, precious metal, design complexity and craftsmanship involved.

Can I create the engagement ring as a surprise?

Yes. Many of our clients begin the process privately. We can help you navigate design preferences, diamond selection, ring size and timing while keeping the process discreet.

Do you work with both natural and lab-grown diamonds?

Yes. We work with natural and lab-grown diamonds and will help you compare the options based on beauty, proportions, certification, priorities and budget.

Can you use an heirloom diamond or gemstone?

Absolutely. We can evaluate an existing family diamond or gemstone and explore how it may be incorporated into a new custom engagement ring while preserving what makes the original stone meaningful.

Can I see the design before the ring is made?

Yes. Custom designs are developed through sketches and 3D CAD renderings so you can review the proportions and details before production begins. Depending on the project, a prototype may also be appropriate.

How long does it take to create a custom engagement ring?

Do I need to know exactly what I want before I contact you?

Not at all. Some clients arrive with detailed inspiration, while others simply know they want something personal and beautifully made. Part of our role is helping you discover what the ring should become.

Do you work with clients outside New York?

Yes. While our atelier is located in New York City, we can work with clients outside New York through virtual consultations and carefully coordinated communication throughout the custom-design process.
