They came to our atelier with a ring that could never be replaced: her late father’s wedding band.

Their wish was to use it in creating two wedding bands of their own—a connection to him, carried into the life they were beginning together.

Considering the possibilities

A Ring With a History

We do not usually undertake projects that involve directly remelting a client’s sentimental ring. The responsibility is considerable: the original piece cannot be returned to its former state once it has been melted.

After careful consideration, Carlos accepted this exceptional commission. He designed two new wedding bands in CAD, with personal engravings inside each.

The unexpected moment

The Heart They Saw

We recorded the journey as Carlos worked. Later, while watching the melting footage again, we noticed a small heart-shaped form.

For the bride-to-be, it held a deeply personal meaning. She told us that her father had always sent her signs, and she felt this was his blessing for her marriage. Watching it brought her happy tears.

That is how she experienced the moment—and it became part of the story of their rings.

From CAD design through melting, casting, cleaning and final finishing, the couple’s wedding bands took shape.

Each ring carries its own engraving. Together, they carry a connection to the father whose wedding band was part of their beginning.
