Lifetime workmanship warranty

Your custom jewelry is covered by Couture Jewelry Atelier’s lifetime workmanship warranty against defects in our craftsmanship.

If your piece differs from the approved design or specifications because of an error in our atelier, we will correct or remake the affected portion at no charge.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, impact, improper handling, loss, theft, or negligence.

Complimentary cleaning and inspection

We offer complimentary professional cleaning and inspection for jewelry made by Couture Jewelry Atelier, by appointment.

We recommend having settings, prongs, and stones inspected at least once a year, or sooner after an impact or with heavy wear. Repairs and maintenance beyond complimentary cleaning and inspection may incur charges unless covered by our workmanship warranty.

Complimentary first resize

For rings made by Couture Jewelry Atelier, the first resize is complimentary within one year of the purchase date shown on your final invoice, where the design permits safe resizing. Contact us to assess the adjustment and arrange service

Customers are responsible for shipping and insurance in both directions for mailed services.

Caring for your jewelry

Remove your jewelry during activities that expose it to impact, abrasion, chemicals, heavy lifting, or exercise equipment.

Although diamonds are durable, they can chip or become loose if struck. Loss, chipping, or damage to a diamond or other gemstone caused by wear, impact, or accident is not a workmanship defect.

Repairs by another jeweler

We encourage you to return your piece to our atelier for inspection, maintenance, and repairs. Alterations or repairs performed by another jeweler may affect warranty coverage if that work contributes to subsequent damage.

Arranging service

We accept jewelry for service through in-person appointments and by mail. Please contact us before sending your piece so we can discuss the service required and provide shipping instructions.

Customers are responsible for shipping and insurance costs in both directions for all services, including complimentary services and warranty work.
