Real Rings With a Story

A Tiara-Inspired
Engagement Ring
& Wedding Band

A name, a blue diamond,
and two rings designed together.

The starting point

It Began With Her Name

The couple hadn’t settled on a design, but they had a personal starting point: her name, Tiara. Could an engagement ring and wedding band take inspiration from a tiara?

They wanted the two rings to complement each other, so we developed both designs together from the beginning.

Developing the idea

Two Rings, One Conversation

We created sketches for the couple to review, discuss and refine. Several rounds of revisions helped shape their idea into two designs they both loved. Production began only after both designs were approved.

The finished pair

A Personal Idea,
Brought to Life

The client supplied the blue laboratory-grown center diamond. We designed the engagement ring around it, adding laboratory-grown emeralds and decorative scrollwork beneath the setting.

The wedding band echoes those details in a tiara-inspired silhouette, with a blue marquise-shaped laboratory-grown diamond and laboratory-grown emerald accents.

Carlos crafted both rings in platinum alloyed with ruthenium at our New York City atelier. Each has its own character, with proportions and details considered together from the outset.
